Welcome to Valley Presbyterian's Pastor Search Committee Website.

Valley Presbyterian is located in Lutherville, Maryland, a suburb about 20 minutes from downtown Baltimore. We are in the Chesapeake Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America. In addition to some 350 members, approximately 50 nonmembers attend regularly. The average attendance is about 240 each Sunday. Our Pastoral staff includes a Senior Pastor, an Associate Pastor, and a Director of Youth Ministries.

We are currently accepting applications for Senior Pastor due to the retirement of Reverend W. Thompson Osterhaus who has been our Pastor for 16 years.

We are looking for a Pastor who is ordained, or is eligible to be ordained, in the PCA. We prefer five to seven years of full time ministry experience.

Click the Request MDF link above to be directed to our registration page. After registering, our search committee correspondent will contact you via email with a password that you may use to login. Return to the website and complete the MDF at your convenience.

Please do not mail us a "hard" copy of your MDF, as our online version differs somewhat from the standard MDF. You need to fill it out online. We are not set up to accept written MDF's or applications.

After we receive and review your MDF, if we decide to pursue your candidacy further, we will request a sermon (mp3). As the review process continues we may request more sermons, and we will ask you to answer some additional questions so that we can get to know you better. Finally, we will ask for references and arrange to meet you and your family in person.
